Specsavers West Bromwichand Orphans inNeed announce partnership

Specsavers West Bromwich has chosen children’s charity Orphans in Need as their charity of choice for 2016.

The branch, located in New Square Shopping Centre will hold a number of events and collections throughout the year to raise funds for the children’s charity, as well as pledging to support 100 orphaned children.

Staff at the branch will be participating in fundraising days in store and the branch will be contributing £1 per eye test to the charity throughout the month of January. In addition, the branch will donating £1 to Orphans in Need throughout the month of March on each pair of children’s glasses as well as holding staff dress down days, match funding employee donations and holding bucket and OiN branded money box collections.

Said Majid Jawaid, Optometrist and Director of the West Bromwich branch, “We are delighted to support Orphans in Need as our chosen charity for 2016. We have a number of fun activities involving staff and customers, running throughout the year and hope to raise a substantial amount of money to help improve the lives of orphaned children around the world.”
