On the outskirts of Delhi, amongst rubble and the city’s sewage pipes, a collection of shacks and makeshift shelters make up what is referred to by locals as ‘The Widows Colony ’. It is here that widows from the surrounding area are forced to seek refuge with their children following the death of their husbands, often the only breadwinner for the family. Through your support, Orphans in Need has taken the responsibility to distribute food packs to these marginalised families, ensuring that they do not remain forgotten.
Please do not forget them. Just £30 a month will provide a food pack for an average-sized family of five.
If you cannot commit monthly, then a one-off donation will still pay for one pack.
